On Thursday, October 26th the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville hosted their Annual Dominican Gala at The Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. Proceeds from the event offer supplementary support to a variety of exceptional educational, health, and human service programs in which our Sisters are engaged. This year’s event raised over $150,000 for the Ministry Support Fund.
Guests met and mingled with over 300 families and friends of the Congregation and our honorees. This year’s award recipients, Juliet Papa, and Sisters currently working in Pastoral Care: Maureen Chase, OP, Maureen Coyne, OP, Jean Agnes Geraghty, OP, Elizabeth Gnam, OP, Denise Haviland, OP, Rosemary Jermusyk, OP, Madeline Queck, OP, and Catherine Thornton, OP. truly represent the Dominican charism.
