The Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville, New York hosted their annual Autumn Evening Event on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York.
At this year’s event, the Congregation was proud to honor and present the Veritas Award to Robert Walker, Esq., founding Member of Gallagher, Walker, Bianco & Plastaras LLP for being a dedicated “Partner in Mission”, and the St. Catherine of Siena Award to Sister Lenore Toscano, OP, former Executive Director of The Opening Word program for her commitment in service to the people of God.
The evening was enjoyed by all with fantastic speeches, presentations, raffles, and a silent auction.
Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, sponsors, and attendees, the event raised almost $140,000 for the Congregation’s Ministry Support Fund.
