On Friday, June 28, 2019, the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville, NY hosted their 18th annual Beauty of the Spirit Luncheon at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. Master of Ceremonies and News 12 Long Island Anchor, Carol Silva welcomed 591 loyal supporters, who helped raise almost $119,000 for the Congregation – the most raised at any of our luncheons since its inception.
Guests enjoyed fantastic raffles and prizes, as well as an inspirational lecture from keynote speaker, Sister Margaret (Peggy) Murphy OP, Professor of Religious Studies, College of Mount St. Mary.
