This year, the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville, NY hosted their annual Dominican Gala virtually on Friday, October 23, 2020. The Congregation honored Suzanne Pugh, RN, Director of Emergency Services at NY Presbyterian Hospital Queens, and S. Flor Buruca, OP, Founder of St. Catherine of Siena Camp in El Salvador.
Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors and sponsors, the event raised over $142,000 for the Ministry Support Fund.
Organizing a successful event takes hard work and preparation. Thank you to this year’s committee for their dedication, and to the Advancement Office for reimagining the gala experience.
