On Friday, June 25, 2021, the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville hosted their 20th annual Beauty of the Spirit Luncheon. This year’s virtual event featured veteran news anchor, Carol Silva, as the emcee. Program segments focused on the mind/body/spirit connection and included interactive workshops on tai chi, gardening, and painting.
The event raised $65,000 and proceeds will assist in enhancing internet services, video conferencing subscriptions, as well as investing in laptops and desktop computers to strengthen the creation and delivery of streaming worship, workshops, and other gatherings.
