ASSOCIATES RETREAT!
How wonderful to share in prayer and community together. We are so grateful to these lay women who walk with us in our ministries and charism.
Associates recently gathered for a retreat on August 25-27th at St. Joseph Villa in Hampton Bays. Thanks to our very own Sister Laura Arvin (the director of Mount St. Mary Retreat Center in NJ) who presented a retreat to associates during the weekend.
The retreat focused on three women special to our Dominican heritage – Catherine of Siena (Dominican lay woman and one of our patrons!), the woman with the hemorrhage in Scripture, and Mary Magdalene (the first preacher of the Good News!).
The time together was cherished.
