Dominican Young Adults Commit to Our Order November 3, 2025

On Sunday, October 5th, it was indeed a day of celebration for our Congregation and our Dominican Order. That morning, during the liturgy, ten young adults from Molloy University either recommitted or made their first commitment to actively engage in the Mission of our Congregation.

Through their participation in prayer, study, community, and service, they will demonstrate their willingness to spread the Good News of the Gospel as members of Dominican Young Adults, USA.

Those present, as well as their families and friends, were privileged to be witnesses as they proclaimed their “yes” to following, in their own unique way, our Dominican Tradition.

“We are proud of them and thank them for making this commitment to being the newest carriers of the charism,” said Sister Gina Fleming, Promoter of Youth for the Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville. “It was a wonderful day for them and their families, and of course for all of us! We joyfully welcome them to the Dominican Family.”
