At the Dominican Young Adult meeting on Sunday, April 2nd, Dominican Volunteer and Dominican Young Adult, Katt Maloney was joined by Rodman Serrano, a student at Stony Brook University, and gave a very enlightening and challenging presentation on immigration, refugees and the farmworkers in Suffolk County. Katt shared her experiences at the United Nations where she is focusing on immigration and refugees and Rodman shared his experiences with the farmworkers in Suffolk County.
The young adults were very engaged in their presentations and had much to add to the conversation.
Dominican Young Adults is such a wonderful opportunity for young people, as well as vowed members of our congregation, to gather together in prayer, community, study, and service. What a blessing for the Dominican Family!
