Our Congregation is Participating in 100 Days of Prayer
Amityville Dominicans will be praying on Friday, November 14, 2025

Our Congregation will be participating in the 100 Days of Prayer, Fasting, and Advocacy for our world on Friday, November 14, 2025, the eve of the Feast of St. Albert the Great, in St. Albert’s Chapel in the Motherhouse.
In doing so, we will be joining with the other congregations in the Leadership Conference for Women Religious (LCWR), which is sponsoring this 100-day event from October 1st (Feast of the Little Flower) until January 11th (Feast of the Baptism of Jesus). All sisters, associates, young adults and friends are invited to participate as much as possible in a day of prayer, fasting, and advocacy for the needs of our world.
Some suggestions:
Prayer Suggestions:
- Participate in a Prayer Hour in St. Albert Chapel on November 14th from 2 to 3 PM. (This can be viewed on our livestream page.)
- Pray the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary.
- Keep a private hour of prayer in a place of your choosing.
Fasting Suggestions:
- Fast from foods not available to the most vulnerable
- Fast from unnecessary use of technology
- Fast from single-use plastics

Advocacy Suggestions:
