With the Holy Days fast approaching, Amityville Dominican Sister Peggy Murphy directs our attention to the Beatitude “Blessed are the Meek.” She finds it embodied in the person of Jesus, who at the Last Supper, despite his coming fear and anguish, gives us an example not of weakness but rather of “strength under control” as he offers meek service to others by washing the feet of his apostles.
Join us for this evening of prayerful reflection.
