Three novices from the Dominican Collaborative Initiative visited the Amityville Motherhouse on March 12, 2017. Katherine Frazier, Ana Gonzalez, and Margaret Uche are excited about joining the legacy of Dominican women.
“Sisters rock,” said Ana Gonzalez. For her, the Religious life journey began when the late Sister Dorothy Margaret Dawes, a Dominican Sister of Peace, asked her a question.
“She asked if I had ever thought about considering Religious Life. Then I saw myself not only being in the company of admirable, brilliant, educated, and passionate women, but exploring the possibility of becoming one of them. That was just amazing!”
The novices joined the Sisters for Liturgy, dinner, and a tour of the Motherhouse campus. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to discern their vocations.
