National Catholic Sisters Week March 20, 2017

There were kisses and hugs and lots of good cheer during National Catholic Sisters Week, March 8-14.

NCSW celebrates all Women Religions to help spotlight the ways these incredible women have shaped our communities and the world for the better. At the Amityville Motherhouse, Sisters celebrated the week by welcoming three Novices during the week, and by hosting an ice cream social for retired Sisters. A handful of young women came to Amityville to help host the event and say “thank you” for all the beautiful work the Sisters have done.
