Called to be signs of Joy and Hope
As we prepare for the Christmas season, join with us for this traditional celebration of sacred readings and songs inside St. Albert Chapel at the Motherhouse. Bring bells!
Join with us as we bless the darkness and pray that the Prince of Peace will once again bring His light into our lives and the world. Led by Dominican Associate, Lori Andrews, via Zoom.
The Dominican Sisters, Associates, and Young Adults of Amityville, New York, publicly commit to respond to Pope Francis’ invitation to participate in a seven-year journey toward sustainability and integral ecology by developing a plan and concrete actions in union with the seven goals of the Laudato Sí Action Platform.
Who Are We?
Women and men, single and married who live out their baptismal call to follow Jesus Christ in the spirit of St. Dominic and St. Catherine of Siena. Associates journey with the Sisters and share in the "Holy Preaching" as bonded members of the congregation.
Young Adults range in age from 18-35. They can be either single or married. Captured by the spirit of St. Dominic to "preach with their lives", these partners in Dominican life have embraced the Dominican charism and wish to live out the four pillars of prayer, study, community, and mission in their lives.
