As everyone in the Motherhouse knows from experience, the main elevator and the ground elevator were continually breaking down and need to be completely restored and repaired. What you might not know, is the cost of this project is approximately $500,000.
This past year, the Advancement Office began reaching out to many of our supporters: individual donors, foundations and corporations to raise funds for this critical need. The Faith Home Foundation responded to our call for help. Martha Peterson, Grant Administrator, stopped by this week to present us with a generous $25,000 gift towards the elevator repair fund.
We are happy to report that to date we have raised over $479,000 for this project.
