Sharing “Spiritual Autobiographies” November 15, 2016

In mid-November, two dozen students from Molloy College in Rockville Centre met with our Sisters at Queen of the Holy Rosary Motherhouse in Amityville to discuss their spiritual journeys. Their one-on-one discussions are part of the curriculum for a course called “Spiritual Autobiography.” Students consider this special day to be the highlight of the course!

“They come here and experience the convent and the great joy about the Sisters’ lives: their work, their love for God; and they hear about all they have encountered and achieved. The joy is contagious!” said Juliette Fernan, who teaches the class with Sister Alice Byrnes, OP. At the end of the course, students each write their own spiritual autobiography. The day was memorable for all in attendance.
