Sister Lissie Aviles, OP helped celebrate the 800th Jubilee in Rome, and even gave a presentation called Take Care of Creation. “It was a good experience because I could see the diversity of the Order and that preaching takes various forms…health, human rights, the ecology, art, music, and dance,” Sister Lissie said.
To conclude the 800th anniversary of the Dominican Order, Pope Francis presided over a Mass for the Order of Preachers.
