Sister Lynn Queck’s time and ministry at Stony Brook University Hospital and Medical Center was recognized and celebrated last week during a liturgy and luncheon given in her honor.
Sister Lynn, well-respected and obviously appreciated by her co-ministers and peers at the hospital, has chosen to end her time there to pursue other interests and new ways of ministry. Lynn is a “good listener a compassionate presence and courageous minister to the sick and their families…She will be missed for sure!” This statement from one of the hospital staff speaks to how Lynn was a sign of joy and hope to many.
