St. Ignatius the Martyr Parish of Long Beach celebrated its 90th Anniversary year. Members of the Council, the Sisters who reside in Long Beach’s convent, and Diane Morgan, OP, who presently ministers as a Pastoral Associate, joined the parish community for prayer, food, and wonderful presentations from some “long-time” parishioners inclusive of our Sister Mary Clare Rhatigan’s family. Having been a presence in the parish for decades, the Amityville Dominicans received an overwhelming ovation from the faith-filled beach community.
