We thank God that our Sisters in Puerto Rico are all safe. However, we know that is not true for all on the island. As elsewhere in the Caribbean, where the Sisters live there has been damage to their chapel and some buildings. The Sisters, like so many others in Puerto Rico, are cleaning up and waiting for the full restoration of power and communications. Many of you have been asking how to help and we have asked our Congregation’s Province in Puerto Rico what support would be most beneficial. At this time, they would be grateful for monetary donations that they will use in helping to clean up and rebuild what has been damaged and also in their ministries, which serve so many people on the island.
For more information on how you can help, please contact Sister Carolann Masone, OP at the Queen of the Rosary Motherhouse.
